How Permaculture and Land transformed our lives
In the past years we saw first hand how Permaculture and Land based living can transform your life. We have created an intimate relationship with our land that lead us to transition to eating seasonally and locally of what we could produce ourselves (and what we could purchase from local farmers). With the fruits of our land we created viable business making and selling living foods such as kale chips, sprouted crackers, gomasio, herbal infusions, water kefir, etc.
We saw a dramatic improvement to our health as now we were consuming generous amounts of nutrient-dense foods we were growing and making ourselves (instead of store bought food, snacks, coffee or bread). Our nails grew strong and white, our hair became shiny. We worked hard both intellectually and physically managing children, land and business but somehow had more energy than ever before. We also became pregnant for the third time, and this was our strongest pregnancy with almost no back pains, no muscle spasms, no migraines. It was a miracle.
Enthusiastically we shared our knowledge and experiences with our family, friends and local community. We got amazing feedback, people walked away truly inspired after seeing us at the farmer's market, or our garden tours. The demand for our living products has been outgrowing the supply we can make. Living, creating and crafting locally and oriented towards our community has never been so gratifying, so important and generous in return.
Permaculture design of our land and of our lives has allowed us in a very short time to create a successful operation and a platform for inspiration to others. We are continuously working on our evolving permaculture design and gearing up for more ambitious projects to come! Stay tuned!
