Our story unfolded organically in 2012 on 7 acres amongst ecologically designed gardens. We were inspired to grow the most nourishing and healthy vegetables to feed our growing family and local community. Our mindset has always been a return to a simple life, slow food. movement, traditional fermentation, zero waste. Through trials and tribulations (and a couple of moves), we grew narrowing our focus but expanding the depth of our offerings. In 2016 we made the decision to focus primarily on Kombucha. We chose our logo amongst ancient Slavic symbols of protection as a shield for our company and to honour our roots, the history of how kombucha came into our lives. Dasha grew up with Chainiy Grib (kombucha) in the Soviet Union, falling in love with ferments in her Moldovan Grandmother's kitchen. In March 2019 we moved our production to a bigger shared space at 12 Gore St. East in Perth. It has both retail and wholesale capabilities. It's been really fun hosting people for workshops, drop in visits and lot's of sampling of artisan traditionally brewed Kombucha.
We do not know what the future holds for us, but we will always stay true to the authentic pure and simple processes and ingredients that go into the magical process of fermentation.
May you be healthy and nourished! Dasha and Sebastien
